Statue Of Unity’s first picture from Space, here’s how it looks

An American company has taken a marvellous picture of the world’s largest statue from the space. Statue of Unity of India’s “Iron Man” Sardar Vallabh Bhai Patel has been shared by the American Constellation of Satellites owned by Sky Lab.

The image shows the statue from the top angle with River Narmada flowing near it.

The Rs 2,389 crore monument is a tribute to Patel who played a major role in integrating the princely states into the Indian Union after the partition of 1947.

It is almost 29 metres taller than China’s Spring Temple Buddha that stands at 153 metres, and almost twice as high as the 93-metre Statue of Liberty in New York.

Prime Minister Narendra Modi unveiled the Sardar Vallabh Bhai Patel’s statue at Kevadiya in Gujarat on October 31. It is twice as tall as the Statue of Liberty in New York.
