Mumbai: The target of scurrilous rumours and innuendos comes under the close scrutiny of actors life. But the Bollywood’s King Khan Shah Rukh Khan says that rumours and controversies never affected his equation with his wife Gauri Khan.
In a recent Cosmopolitan magazine, interview SRK said. “I’m a movie star, I’ve been working for 20 years. I work with the most beautiful women in the world. There are enough stories to go around that I sleep around with foreigners, with men, with my co-actresses. But it has never affected me and Gauri because I guess she knows I don’t have the time to do anything but work.”
He also revealed how he and Gauri have never seen eye to eye. “We’ve never thought the same about films, about life and we’ve never tried to change that about each other. The only thing we are completely aligned in thoughts about are the kids,” he added.
Shah Rukh eats like a bird, drinks about 30 cups of black coffee a day, in place of even water and he is a chain smoker. He knows that there are a few more unhealthy practices that he follows as well.
He said, “I don’t sleep. I smoke about a 100 cigarettes a day. I forget to eat. I don’t drink water. I have 30 cups of black coffee, and I have a six-pack. So, the less I take care of myself, the more I get taken care of.”
He further revealed that women are the most gentle and intelligent creature to ever come into existence. “I believe women are the most gentle, intelligent and sweet creature ever created. Remember, there’s no life without women,” SRK said.
