Hyderabad: The Samajwadi Party (SP) candidates won both Bilari and Jangipur assembly seats in Uttar Pradesh.
SP candidate Mohammad Faheem defeated his nearest rival BJP candidate Suresh Saini by a margin of 7,000 votes from Bilari seat in Moradabad district.
From Jangipur seat of Gazipur district, SP candidate Kismati Devi defeated BJP candidate Ramesh Singh Pappu by a margin of 22,000 votes.
In Telangana, ruling Telangana Rastra Samithi (TRS) gained Palair Assembly Constituency with its candidate Nageswara Rao emerging the winner.
Rao defeated Congress rival Sucharitha Reddy by a margin of over 45 thousand votes. (ANI)
