Slovakian embassy in Hungary undamaged after attack

Budapest, August 26: Slovakia’s embassy in Budapest was undamaged after an attack with Molotov cocktails during the night into Wednesday morning, reported the MTI news agency, citing police sources. The bombs did not explode and there was no damage. There are no clues as to the identity of the attackers.

Tensions are high between the two countries after Slovakia last week blocked a planned private visit by Hungarian President Laszlo Soylom for a statue unveiling ceremony.
