On Sunday evening, Task force personnel along with Chikkadapally police, raided a common Gaming house at Bagh Lingampally, Chikkadpally, and apprehended six offenders and seized cash of Rs 14,100, playing cards and six Cell Phones from their possession.
The accused were identified as Anasuya, 60, Gaming organiser, and punters Marri Krishna Rao, 52, of Temple Alwal, Secunderabad, B. Suresh Babu, 47, of Siddhapur village under Achampet mandal of Nagarkurnool district, Maagani Chinna Masaiah alias Ananad, 40, a hotel worker of Chappal Bazar, Kachiguda, Maddela Ganesh, 36, of Kachiguda and D. Ramakrishna, 40, of Bharath Nagar Colony, Moosapet.
Police said Anasuya, previously worked in gambling clubs in the twin cities along with B. Suresh Babu, after closure of the clubs. She started a common gaming house at a Flat No.12, Block No.1, APHB, Sankalpa Residency, Street No.6, Bagh Lingampally, Chikkadapally, and conducted three cards game since last six months. (NSS)
