Congress Legislature Party (CLP) leader K Jana Reddy today opined that Special Investigation Team (SIT) inquiry was the best one to deal with the gangster Nayeem’s case.
Speaking to the media here on Saturday, Jana Reddy said one has to demand for CBI inquiry only when SIT fails to open the facts to public. “Some people have given information about Nayeem when I was home minister. But nobody came forward to give a written complaint on it and hence I didn’t direct the police to caught Nayeem”, he reminded. The police informed him that they failed to find Nayeem’s address, he said, stating that the Maoists’ influence decreased just because of his efforts as a home minister during Congress government.
