Single women from several districts in the State called on Chief Minister K Chandrasekhar Rao on Saturday at Pragathi Bhavan and expressed their gratitude for sanctioning pension to them.
The single women, who came in large numbers, shared their happiness with the Chief Minister for according them the pension exempting from various rules. They profusely thanked the Chief Minister saying his gesture has instilled confidence among them, who were leading difficult life.
The Chief Minister has taken the opportunity to enquire from the women, who came to meet him, about the working and implementation of several State government programs, schemes and measures. Responding to the Chief Minister’s queries, the women replied that Schemes like Kalyana Laxmi are being implemented well. Food being provided in the hostels along with eggs is good. Anganwadi Centres are working well and the supply of power is also good. They are happy that under Mission Kakatiya Programme all the tanks and water bodies in the state are brimming with water. Women belonging to Self-Help Groups among the gathering showed the awards that they have received for their work to the Chief Minister. The Chief Minister reiterated that his government would support and stand by the women.
