Shoaib Malik changes mind, to file appeal next week

Karachi, March 23: In a sudden change of mind, former Pakistan captain Shoaib Malik has said that he will lodge his appeal with the Cricket Board (PCB) against the ban and fine next week.

Malik was supposed to file the appeal yesterday against the 12 months ban and two million rupees fine imposed on him by PCB. But he said he is in consultation with his friends and family and would file an appeal after playing the Bangladesh League in Dubai.

“I have always played clean cricket for my country and all allegations against me are false. I will knock on every door to get due justice. I will file the appeal with the board next week after returning from Dubai,” he said at Gaddafi Stadium in Lahore.
