Shiv Sena slams Pak, says ‘stop the talks, show the guns’

New Delhi, Aug 4 : Responding to reports of former Pakistan Director General Tariq Khosa’s admission that Islamabad was behind the 26/11 Mumbai terror attacks, Shiv Sena leader Sanjay Raut today said India’s stand has been vindicated and added that it’s high time for action.

“This is not a revelation, but now that Pakistan’s hand in the attacks has been revealed, there should be no delay in taking action. It’s been 50 years since people involved in the dialogues with Pakistan have been changing, but the situation remains the same,” he said.

The Shiv Sena leader also said the Indian Government’s attitude towards Pakistan needs to change.

“We need to stop saying things like Pakistan is our friend and we should become tough. If we do not take action now then more terrorists like Kasab will find their way into India,” Raut said.

The former DG’s statement comes at a time when there have been repeated ceasefire violations along the Line of Control (LoC) from the other side of the border.

Moreover, this may also come as a setback to the NSA-level dialogue between the two sides expected to take place later this month.

According to reports, the former Director General of Pakistan agrees with India’s version that the 26/11 terror attacks in Mumbai were ‘planned and launched from Pakistan soil’. (ANI)
