New Delhi: Though Shahid Kapoor’s dance -themed film ‘Chance Pe Dance’ failed badly at the box-office, the actor is keen to try the genre for a second time.
The leading daily DNA quoted Shahid, 35, as saying, “I would love to do a dance film now. I hope I can dance well enough though because people are doing such a good job today with their dancing. I guess CPD ( Chance Pe Dance ) didn’t work because it was a bad film. The ones that are made now are better. So there’s no wrong or right time to make a film. You should make a film well and if you do that, people will like it.”
Talking about dance, the ‘Udta Punjab’ actor said, “Dance is a very exciting space and there’s a huge audience for that. So yes, definitely, the audience has grown now. There’s more awareness and excitement about dance now. There are more people wanting to dance than maybe six-seven years back. You make a good film in any genre and it should work.”
On the professional front, Shahid is prepping up for his next film ‘ Rangoon’. (ANI)
