Srinagar, July 21: Welcoming the revival of dialogue between India and Pakistan, the J-K minister for power and transport Shabir Ahmed Khan has said that people of the state have suffered tremendously and resumption of dialogue has rekindled the hope of peace.
“We welcome revival of dialogue between India and Pakistan. People of state have suffered a lot and resumption of dialogue has rekindled the hope of peace returning to the subcontinent”, he said while addressing a public rally at Surankote in Poonch district yesterday.
He said that cordial relations between the neighbours has come as a sigh of relief to the people living across LoC.
Stressing on the allround and composite development of all regions, Khan announced that the present coalition would initiate development activities equitably in all the districts of the state.
