Tirumala, november 12: P Seshadri alias `Dollar Seshadri’ is planning to file a writ petition in the Supreme Court challenging the interim orders of the AP High Court dismissing his extension orders as Officer on Special Duty (OSD).
According to sources, he held discussions with his advocates in Hyderabad and it was decided that he should challenge the interim orders of the High Court.
Sources close to Seshadri say that he may tell the Apex Court that his absence may adversely affect the regular activities of the Tirumala temple especially the daily rituals and this may hurt the religious sentiments of the devotees.
He may also tell the apex court that termination of his services as OSD would also deprive him of his livelihood.
Meanwhile, the Law Department of Tirumala Tirupati Devasthanams (TTD) which received the court orders, Wednesday circulated notices to the TTD Board Cell and Office of the Executive Officer.
The notice said that the decision of the Trust Board extending the services of Seshadri up to June 2011 would be kept in abeyance.
According to sources, the temple administration was directed by the Board Cell that the OSD was advised not to come to duties until further orders. And the same was informed to Seshadri.
The standing council on legal issues of the TTD will be discuss the matter with the TTD Chairman DK Audikesavulu Naidu and Executive Officer IYR Krishna Rao on further course of action to be taken.
