Mumbai, December 01: Shiv Sena candidate Shraddha Jadhav was yesterday elected new Mumbai mayor.
She defeated Congress rival P Kadam by 19 votes, helping Sena retain the mayor’s post.
Corporators of the MNS led by Raj Thackeray and Samajwadi Party abstained from voting, dashing Congress’ hopes of a victory.
