Hyderabad, August 10: In the reshuffle of the IPS officers in the state, Mr V.K. Singh has now been posted as the Legal Metrology department controller. Mr Singh, who has a clean image, had angered Dalit leaders recently after he reportedly cautioned cops on the misuse of SC/ST Atrocities Prevention Act cases.
The vigilance and enforcement director, Mr K.V. Rajendranth Reddy, has been posted as North Coastal IG and DGP (Law and Order) and Mr M. Ratan as DG Vigilance and Enforcement.
Additional DG Provisions and Logistics, Mr K. Durga Prasad, has been transferred as additional DG (sports). Ms Tejdeep Kaur Menon has posted as additional DG (training) in the existing vacancy.
Mr S. Gopal Reddy, a 1985 batch IPS officer of Jammu & Kashmir, has been posted as additional DG (technical services).
Mr R.P. Thakur has been posted as DG (drugs and copyrights). The home department special secretary, Mr Govind Singh, has been shifted out and posted as South Zone (Rayalaseema Region) Inspector General of Police.
Rayalaseema IG Mr Santosh Mehra, has been shifted to the city and posted as additional commissioner of Police (Coordination). Ms A.R. Anuradha, is now IG (Law and Order).
IG (L & O) Mr T.A. Tripathi has been posted as special secretary to the home department.
APSRTC vigilance and security director Dr Batti Lal Meena has been posted as director, vigilance and enforcement and IG (training) Mr K.R.M. Kishore Kumar has been posted as IG (Legal) in DGP office.
Cyberabad Joint Commissioner of Police (Law and order) Ms Swati Lakhra has been posted as DIG (Vigilance and Enforcement) in the existing vacancy.
The Anti-Corruption Bureau additional director, Mr N. Suryanarayana, has been transferred as Joint CP (CAR headquarters).
The Nizamabad superintendent of police, Mr K. Venkateswara Rao, has been posted as Alwal Zone DCP in Cyberabad and DCP (Security) Mr R.B. Naik has been transferred as the Ranga Reddy superintendent of police.
Mr P. Munis Swamy has been shifted from Ranga Reddy to Guntakal railways and tourism special officer Dr M. Kantha Rao has been shifted as the Secunderabad Railway SP.
Mr S. Shyam Sunder has been posted as the Guntur Urban SP and SAR CPL commandant Dr M. Naganna has been posted as SP railways in Vijayawada.
Mr A.S. Khan has been posted at the Regional Vigilance and Enforcement Office.
