New Delhi: The Supreme Court on Tuesday directed BJP leader Subramanian Swamy to amend his petition which had challenged the Jet-Etihad deal.
The apex court has now observed that the plea should not be limited to merely Jet-Etihad agreement and has, therefore, asked Swamy to make Air India, IndiGo, SpiceJet and FIA as parties in the petition.
The court will again hear the case on July 29.
Swamy said due to the treaty, the loss to the Indian exchequer is estimated at over Rs. 9500 crore. (ANI)
