Sanathnagar Assembly constituency will be developed into a model segment by addressing all the problems, Minister for Animal Husbandry T Srinivas Yadav said today.
The minister was participating at a few developmental programs spending Rs 21.80 lakh in the segment, including drinking water pipe line, sewage pipelines atBalkampet Yellamma Temple, SR quarters, Kummari Basti and Bapunagar and women toilet at Maitri Vanam by KIMS in the segment here.
Speaking on the occasion, the minister said the government was for providing all basic amenities to the people in a phased manner. He said they have taken steps to provide drinking water, roads, power supply, sewage, drainage and toilets for the people. Yadav said after taking over as minister, he took steps to put in place sewage line in the segment facing drainage problem. Efforts will be made to see that the people get drinking water every day, he said. He also said areas with drainage problems were being identified and will ensure that they get sewage lines very soon. (NSS)
