New Delhi: Prices of Samsung Galaxy A7 (2017) and Galaxy A5 (2017) have been cut in India. The company on Friday announced the price revision for A-series phones.
With the changes in price, the Samsung Galaxy A5 (2017) will now be available at Rs 22,900, down from an earlier price of Rs 26,900. The Samsung Galaxy A7 (2017), on the other hand, will be going on sale at Rs 25,900, down from Rs 30,900. The company says that the price revisions have been made targeted at the festive season in the country, reports Gadgets 360.
Both the phones were available in the country since March this year. The two smartphones are similar in the specification. The differences lie in their screen size, battery capacity, dimensions, and weight.
The Samsung Galaxy A5 (2017) features a 5.2-inch full-HD (1080×1920 pixels) Super AMOLED display, measures 146.1×71.4×7.9mm, weighs 157 grams, and sports a 3000mAh battery. While, the Samsung Galaxy A7 (2017) has a 5.7-inch full-HD (1080×1920 pixels) Super AMOLED display, measures 156.8×77.6×7.9mm, weighs 186 grams, and sports a 3600mAh battery.
The Galaxy A5 (2017) and the Galaxy A7 (2017) smartphones come with 32GB of inbuilt storage that’s expandable up to 256GB, a fingerprint scanner, an Always on Display, a USB Type-C port coupled with a 3.5mm audio jack, Samsung Pay support, as well as the presence of features like Samsung Cloud and Secure Folder.
Both smartphones are powered by a 1.9GHz octa-core SoC coupled with 3GB of RAM, and both sport a 16-megapixel rear camera with LED flash and a f/1.9 aperture, as well as a 16-megapixel front camera with a f/1.9 aperture.
