Rajgir (Bihar), October 11: While commenting on alleged appeasement policy being pursued by the NDA government in Bihar, the RSS today said they were opposed to appeasement of minorities in “any form” in the country.
The party’s general secretary Mohan Joshi said RSS was opposed to the state government move to open the branch of Aligarh Muslim University in Kishanganj.
“We consider it as a step towards appeasement of minorities,” Joshi told reporters on the concluding day of the three-day RSS national executive meeting here.
Asked whether he would ask for BJP’s interference in halting the alleged appeasement policy in Bihar, he said “RSS was ready to give suggestions to any of the political parties.
But it is their sole discretion whether or not to implement the advice. We don’t interfere in the functioning of a political party.
