RSS slams accusations of involvement in Dadri

Ranchi, Nov.1 (ANI): The Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh (RSS) on Sunday rubbished accusations of involvement in the Dadri lynching case and alleged that desperate attempts were being made to put the organisation ‘in the dock’.

“See we are in the society for more than 90 years. No one has ever raised the question of intolerance. In reality, we condemn these incidents. These types of incidents are never good for the society,” RSS general secretary Bhaiyyaji Joshi told the media here.

“It is necessary to do into the depth of these incidents. However, it is not right to connect RSS with these incidents as whenever an analysis was made, the truth about the events was revealed and it was found that the RSS has no connection with them,” he added.

“It is an attempt by the forces to put RSS in the dock by linking the organization with incidents like Dadri. We have always been condemning these incidents as they are nowhere suited in the healthy democracy,” he further said.

RSS’s All India Prachar Pramukh Manmohan Vaidya had earlier said that the incident could have happened because of fringe elements. He said it is an isolated incident and should be seen in isolation.

Vaidya said one should wait till a proper inquiry is conducted instead of levelling allegations.

Vaidya’s remarks came on the backdrop of allegations by some quarters that the RSS was behind the incident.
