Hyderabad: The three-day meeting of the All India Executive Council of the RSS which began near here on Sunday is discussing ‘politics of murder’ in Kerala and ‘attacks on Hindus’ in West Bengal and Tamil Nadu.
The Akhil Bharatiya Karyakari Mandal (ABKM), also known as All India Executive Council, will pass a resolution on killings of its cadre in Kerala on Monday.
Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh (RSS) spokesperson V Bhagaiah told reporters that the meet will pass a resolution denouncing the ongoing political murders in Kerala despite the democratic set up in the country.
“Intolerant communists are targeting RSS activists in a most heinous way and also destroying their properties to intimidate them. A most inhuman, intolerant and unconstitutional pogrom is going on in that state,” said Bhagaiah, Joint General Secretary of RSS.
RSS chief Mohan Bhagwat inaugurated the conclave at Annojiguda on the outskirts of Hyderabad.
General Secretary Bhayyaji Joshi is presiding over the meet, which is being attended by 400 delegates from 42 state wings of the Sangh.
The conclave is discussing increased attacks on Hindus and Sangh functionaries in West Bengal by Trinamool Congress activists and in Tamil Nadu by radical Islamic forces, said Bhagaiah.
The RSS claimed that attacks on Hindus in West Bengal are occurring in districts close to the border with Bangladesh.
Bhagaiah alleged that a 17-year-old Dalit girl was raped by a Muslim, resulting in the death of the minor but the police refused to register a case.
The RSS leader also said that Durga Puja was also targeted by the state government to appease minorities.
The meet will also pass resolutions on atrocities on the basis of caste and creed, destruction of environment, exploitation of natural resources and global warming.
RSS media in-charge Manmohan Vaidya said that through social harmony initiatives the RSS is stressing on Gram Vikas through cow-based farming, Kutumb Prabodhan (initiatives for instilling family values) and Samarasta (social harmony) in society.
