Telangana TDP Working President A. Revanth Reddy has questioned the action of Assembly Speaker S. Madhusudan Chary in allotting two rooms in Assembly premises, which were originally given to TDP, to assembly committees without giving notice to the opposition party.
Speaking to media persons here on Tuesday, Revanth Reddy said at least a notice should have been given about the transfer of the rooms. He said that he would consider taking legal advice on the issue. The party’s strength in the Assembly has drastically came down following defections of TDP MLAs.
Following this, the TD leader spoke to Leader of Opposition K. Jana Reddy and BJP leaders seeking their support. He is said to have stressed on the need for unity among the opposition parties. (INN)
