Parents of conjoined twins want their kids operated upon

Parents of the conjoined twins Veena, Vani have given their consent to the Niloufer Hospital authorities that they want their kids to be operated upon, officials informed the media.

The twins who turned 13 recently, were in Niloufer hospital for over a decade. A week ago experts from the All India Institute of Medical Sciences (AIIMS) categorically informed Niloufer Hospital authorities that a surgery for the twins fell under the ‘high risk’ category, meaning probable death for either of them or for both.
