New Delhi, October 07: Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister K Rosaiah has lauded the Railways’ decision to transport relief materials to flood-hit districts in the state free of cost.
In a letter, the Chief Minister has thanked Railway Minister Mamata Banerjee for responding “promptly” to the flood situation in the state with this gesture.
Railway Minister had sanctioned the scheme as a “special case” with a view to facilitate movement of relief materials to flood-affected areas in Andhra and Karnataka.
