Newyork, June 09: In a just-released, poster for The Girl with the Dragon Tattoo, actress Rooney Mara goes completely nude (her body adorned with just tattoos and multiple, kinky piercings) as clothed costar Daniel Craig embraces her from behind.
In the upcoming mystery/thriller (directed by David Fincher) based on the blockbuster book (part of a trilogy) by late Swedish author Stieg Larson, Rooney, 25, plays gritty, punk heroine Lisbeth Salander.
In the books, Salander is a brilliant, deeply damaged computer hacker who channels traumatic memories of childhood rape and abuse to help journalist Mikael Blomkvist (played by Craig) solve a decades-old crime. Despite their 20-plus year age difference, Salander and Blomkvist become lovers in the book as well.
