Hyderabad, September 25: Unidentified miscreants broke in at the Tuljabhavani temple in Mansurpally Tanda in Gangedu mandal in Ranga Reddy district, late on Friday and robbed valuables worth around Rs 3 lakh.
According to police, the robbery was noticed early on Saturday after the priest opened the temple door for the early morning rituals at around 5 AM.
Five tolas of gold and one kilogram of silver ornaments were missing apart from the temple hundi.
The priest lodged a complaint with the police. The police visited the spot and started to collect clues. A case has been registered under sections 457 and 380 of the IPC against unidentified persons. Efforts are on to identify the culprits.
