Hyderabad: Mr. Mohammed Mazheruddin, President of Muslim Welfare Association, Koratla, Kareemnagar started hunger strike yesterday at old Municipal office. Addressing the gathering on this occasion. He told that the Muslims have been supporting every political party ever since Independence of India. Those parties assured power with the help of the Muslims but did not do anything for the development of the Muslims. The educational and economic condition of the Muslims is worse than SCs and STs.
Muslims have been enjoying 4% reservations are provided, many more Muslims would be benefitted. Mr. Mohammed Abdus Saleem Farooqui convener of Muslim Reservation Committee applauded the step taken by Mr. Mazheruddin for hunger strike.
He told that Mr. KCR had made a promise to provide 12% reservation for Muslims in his election manifesto in 2014 but after assuming power. He forgot it. Muslim students are put to loss.
Mr. Mujeebur Rahman, Mr. Abdul Qayyum, former councilor, Mr. Mohammed Mujeebuddin, President of Muslim Empowerment Forum of Koratla, Mr. Mohammed Zaheeruddin and others expressed their solidarity with the participants of chain hunger strike.
