Telangana TDP Working President A. Revanth Reddy has ridiculed the proposal of Panchayat Raj Minister K. Tarakarama Rao of renaming TRS as “Telugu Rashtra Samithi”.
Addressing a press conference here on Friday, Revanth Reddy said that KTR has been making such announcements only to lure voters hailing from Seemandhra region. He challenged KTR to first rename TRS Headquarters from Telangana Bhavan to “Telugu Bhavan”. He asked KTR to clarify whether he got nod from TRS Supremo and Chief Minister K. Chandrashekar Rao on renaming the party.
Revanth Reddy said that TRS was free to contest from any place in Andhra Pradesh, including KCR’s native Vizianagaram. (INN)
