Telangana TDP celebrated Telangana Formation Day at NTR trust bhavan here today.
Addressing the gathering on the occasion, State TDP working president A Revanth Reddy said Telangana State was realized after six decades of agitation and sacrifices of its protagonists. These protagonists sacrificed their lives for social and economic Telangana State. But, now Telangana was in the hands of a single family, he alleged.
Party’s politburo member Motkupally Narsimhulu lamented there was no representation for Mala, Madiga and women in the KCR cabinet. Party national general secretary Prakash Reddy alleged that efforts were being made to spread false information against the party. Another senior leader Ravula Chandrasekhar Reddy said TDP party has played its role for separate State for Telangana.
Party leaders Butchi Lingaiah, Kothakota Dayakar Reddy, Sita Dayakar Reddy, Uma Madhava Reddy, TTD board member A V Ramana, Kanakachari, Satish Madiga, Narender Reddy and others attended the program. (NSS)
