Hyderabad, November 16: The Lok Sabha Speaker rejected the resignations of MPs G. Vivek, Madhu Yashki, Manda Jagannadham, Gutta Sukhender Reddy, S. Rajaiah, Balram Naik, Ponnam Prabhakar and Suresh Shetkar.
Another Congress MP Mr Komatireddy Raja-gopal Reddy’s resignation over the same issue is under consideration of the Speaker and so is the case of Mr Mekapati Rajamohan Reddy of the YSR Congress who had put in his papers in protest against the reported inclusion of YSR’s name in the FIR filed against the Kadapa MP, Y.S. Jagan Mohan Reddy.
Both of them were summoned by the Speaker for a meeting over their resignations. The resignations of Mr Nama Nageshwar Rao and Mr Ramesh Rathod of the TD and Mr K. Chandrasekhar Rao and Vijayashanti of TRS were also rejected.
