Brushing aside the Opposition charges that the reorganization of districts in Telangana was done to draw political mileage by the TRS government, Transport Minister Mahendar Reddy said that the state government took up the reorganization of districts only after due consultations by the all the stakeholders.
The minister said that the new districts were formed for administrative ease and development and the entire process was done scientifically.
The minister was speaking at a function to celebrate the creation of Vikarabad district. After the creation of new district a comprehensive report on the infrastructural needs of the new district would be submitted to the Chief Minister, Reddy informed.
