In a major relief for the TS government, the Supreme Court on Monday gave green signal for the appointment of vice chancellors to 9 universities in the state.
The apex court was hearing an appeal filed by the state which challenged the Hyderabad High Court order which struck the appointment of VCs for the state universities. Chief Justice TS Thakur said that the state government could appointment the Vice Chancellors to the state varsities. (INN)
