Rename India Gate as Bharat Swabhiman Dwar

New Delhi, January 24: Bhartiya Rashtravadi Samanata party concluded its succesful patriotic march in jantar manter on Sunday. National president Col.Tyagi said, ‘We request president Pratibha Patil to give the order to Central Government to rename the monument named as Bharat Swabhiman dwar instead of India Gate.

National Gen Sec Er Chandrakant said that no name written for real freedom fighters, those given their lives for Indian freedom struggle. Adv.Sandeep Shakti said to the fact that many ministries, government commissions, Indian Embassies and other Government Officials have been dishonoring the national emblem, unintentionally or by a design for a long time by omitting the motto “Satyameva Jayate” underneath the national emblem which is the replica of Sarnath lion capital of Emperor Ashoka .

The circular dated 15th November, 2007 by Ministry of Home Affair was issued wherein the ministry has impressed upon all Chief Secretaries/ Administrators of State Governments/ Union Territory Administrations to ensure that various Government agencies using State Emblem of India on their stationeries, publications, seals, vehicles, building etc. have to depict the complete picture of State Emblem together with the motto ‘Satyameva Jayate’ in Devanagari script inscribed below the profile of the Lion Capital.

Manoj Pandit said that, “Hon’ble High Court of Madhya Pradesh has vide order dated 29.01.09 has consider the aforesaid circular and has passed an order 9/106, accordingly”.

However till date various Government agencies has continued to dishonour the National Emblem by not depicting the complete State Emblem, despite of the aforesaid circular. Suresh Mudgal Delhi State President & Ravi Shankar Bagi Delhi State President BRSP requested to President of India to ensure that all the government agencies, ministries, commissions, Indian Embassies and Judicial officers, etc. may depict the complete picture of State Emblem together with ‘ Satyameva Jayate’.

Further, if they failed to depict complete picture of State Emblem within ninety days from the date of receipt of this letter, then a public awareness program and Gandhiwadi style may be initiated against the government. The government will be held responsible for it as even after almost two years of issuance of the circular date 15th November, 2007 the government has failed to implement the aforesaid circular.
