Irrigation Minister T Harish Rao today said that the TRS is just ready to face elections anytime and there is no competition to them in the state by other political parties. He inspected the arrangements for the TRS public meeting at Prakashreddypet in Warangal. The TRS leadership is ready to face elections come any time and no political party can take on the TRS which has garnered support of the people, farmers and other sections he said. Harish Rao also said that all routes are leading towards this public meeting as people are supporting the TRS Government and its welfare schemes. We are making elaborate arrangements for the public meeting to be held on April 27 and a large number of farmers and people will attend it he said. Besides waiving off Rs 17000 cr crop loan waiver the TRS Government has spent Rs 1020 cr for construction of godowns in the state for storing farm produce. Chief Minister K Chandrasekhar Rao is giving top priority to mitigate farmers’ problems and came up with another announcement of giving Rs 8000 towards fertilisers and seeds for two seasons. This step of giving free of cost the fertilisers will offer a big boost to the farmers he hoped. Harish Rao also stated that they will soon reach the target of constructing the famous double bedroom houses to be constructed for the poor to live with self respect. (NSS)
