Sultanpur (UP), September 17: A rape case was today registered against sitting SP MLA Anup Sanda in city police station here, officials said here.
A case has been lodged against Sanda under various sections of IPC including 376 (rape) and 420 (fraud), a senior police official told PTI.
A woman had accused Sanda of raping here following which the case was registered against him, they said.
