Forest Minister Jogu Ramanna today laid foundation stone for developmental works at Chintaguda under Kasipet mandal in Mancheriyal district.
The minister performed bhoomi puja for construction of a bridge being constructed at a cost of Rs two crore.
Speaking to mediapersons on the occasion, Jogu Ramanna said no government had taken care of girijans during the last 60 years in united Andhra Pradesh. But the Telangana government was paying attention for development of girijans after formation of separate State. The minister assured that by 2018, every house would be provided with drinking water in both Adilabad and Manchiryal districts.
The Minister lamented that some people have been misleading the youth in the name of jobs for their political selfishness. (NSS
