Karnal [Haryana]: Dera Sacha Sauda’s IT (Information Technology) team is using social media to keep the followers of Gurmeet Ram Rahim Singh intact.
IT team is keeping the followers of Ram Rahim engaged on all social media platforms and networking sites, including Facebook, WhatsApp, Instagram and YouTube. The team is using video, audio and text messages which glorifies Ram Rahim as a saint and social worker. Claims are also made that there is a conspiracy behind his conviction.
Some of his followers are also appealing other followers not to believe in “false propaganda” against Ram Rahim. Some video messages blame media for deliberately defaming Ram Rahim.
Messages claim that the gufa (Cave) which is in news is just a covered passage to link two buildings inside the Dera premises.
Another video message of 10-minute duration which blames media highlights the achievements and social works of rapist Ram Rahim.
According to the news published in Hindustan Times, reacting to this video message, one of the followers of Dera Chief commented, “Itihas gawah hai ke avatar aur mahapurusho ke sath samaaj ne nainsaafi ki hai (History has been witness to injustice meted out to incarnations of God and great personalities).”
Currently, Dera Chief, Ram Rahim is undergoing a 20-year imprisonment in Rohtak jail for raping two of his female followers.
