New Delhi, May 08: Rakhi Sawant has decided to let bygones be bygones by becoming friends with her ex-flame Abhishek Awasthi.
The actress, who ended her ‘Swayamvar’ engagement to Elesh Parujanwalla earlier this year, has been paired opposite Awasthi on reality show ‘Zara Nachke Dikha’ on Star Plus.
The duo broke the ice when they shot together for a dance sequence for a particular mother’s special episode.
“They danced together after which Rakhi said that Abhishek is the best partner she has ever had,” said a source on the sets.
Awasthi’s mother was also present at the shoot and she became quite emotional watching her son dancing with Rakhi.
“Abhishek’s mother, who was present in the audience, said that Rakhi always was and will continue to be like her daughter,” said the source.
Rakhi apologised for hurting her and Awasthi also decided to bury their differences.
