Beleaguered BJP MLA Raja Singh, who openly revolted against the State party leadership, once again made a startling comment today.
Speaking to mediapersons here on Wednesday, Raja Singh alleged that party president G Kishan Reddy was encouraging groupism in the party. There were three to four groups in every division in the city, he said.
Raja Singh warned that he would not keep quiet if tickets were given to new faces instead of giving them to those who are dedicated to the party in the GHMC elections. He also alleged that Kishan Reddy was not giving importance to him. “I have sent names of six candidates for GHMC tickets. But he was denying tickets to them saying that their antecedents are not good”, he alleged.
“If the party denied tickets to them, I would campaign for them if they contested elections as Independents,” he warned. Raja Singh said he was in touch with leaders of Shiv Sena other Hindu organizations in this regard. (NSS)
