Congress Vice-President Rahul Gandhi will visit the Anantapur district on February 2.
Speaking to media persons here on Tuesday, Andhra Pradesh Congress Committee president Dr. N. Raghuveera Reddy informed that Rahul Gandhi would participate in a programme being organised to commemorate completion of 10 years of Mahatma Gandhi National Employment Guarantee Scheme (MGNREGS). He said Congress president Sonia Gandhi, as the then UPA Chairman, had launched the scheme 10 years ago at Bandapalli. He alleged that the present NDA Government was not implementing the scheme properly. (INN)
