Hyderabad: Rachakonda She team has booked 42 cases (16 FIRs, 17 petty cases and 9 counselling) against eve-teasers in the last three weeks and apprehended 48 eve-teasers. Those who have been arrested include 21 minors.
The accused members have been given the counselling session by Rachakonda She teams, at the Commissioner Camp office, Nagole, LB Nagar, along with their family members.
They were counselled by professional counsellors from the Bhumika Women’s Collective (NGO) and Children in conflict with law were also counselled by professional psychiatrist Dr Vasavi to bring change in their behaviour.
Among those who were caught one of them was a software employee who was harassing and blacking the victim. Major cases were registered under Saroornagar police station.
