PRP spokesperson withdraws letter against Shobha Rani

Hyderabad, August 20: Praja Rajyam Party spokesperson Vasireddy Padma on Friday stated she was withdrawing her letter to the party disciplinary committee in which she complained against her colleague Shobha Rani.

Ms Padma told media persons that her withdrawal of the letter comes after the personal request of party president K Chiranjeevi.

She said that all the bad blood between her and Shobha Rani was now a thing of the past with the interceding of Mr Chiranjeevi and she now has no grouse left.

Ms Padma also denied that she had gone against the party and committed any act of defiance. She blamed the media for twisting the issue and blowing it out of proportion.

The PRP spokesperson expressed her regrets for being involved in a controversy and termed it as an ‘unfortunate’.

Ms Padma claimed that Shoba Rani was like her own sister and asserted that she would henceforth raise issue only before the party fora and regretted the leakage of her letter.

The PRP spokesperson had written to the party disciplinary committee seeking action against Shobha Rani and accused her of making personal attacks.
