City Police Commissioner V.V. Srinivasa Rao, IPS, today notified traffic restrictions/diversions in connection with the program of President Ram Nath Kovind on December 19 and 20. Traffic will either be stopped or diverted at the following places and routes.
On December 19 from 1500 Hrs to 1540 Hrs, the traffic curbs will be in force from Hyderabad Begumpet Airport – Pnt Junction –Shyamlal Building –HPS – Begumpet Flyover – Greenlands Jn – Cm’s Camp Office – Monappa Island – Yashodha Hospital – Mmts – Raj Bhavan – V.V.Statue.
On the same day from 1635 Hrs to 1715 Hrs, traffic curbs will be in force from Raj Bhavan to L.B. Stadium. The President will proceed from Raj bhavan – v.v statue – shadan college- nirankari – old PS Saifabad- Ravindra Bharathi- PCR Junction- AR petrol pump- LB Stadium – Alighting point (c gate).
On return from 1745 Hrs to 1825 Hrs, the President will leave L.B. Stadium to Raj Bhavan as follows. L.B Stadium C gate – A.R Petrol pump – PCR –Ravindra Bharathi- DGP office- l& o PS Saifabad- Ayodha junction – Nirankari- Shadan college – VV Statue – Raj Bhavan.
On December 20, from 0945 Hrs to 1045 Hrs, the President will leave Raj Bhavan for Lord Buddha statue, Hussain Sagar Lake via V.V Statue – Khairtabad flyover- Necklace rotary- Ntr Marg- Lumbini park – Telugu Talli. Again from 1025 Hrs to 1115 Hrs, the President will start from Lord Buddha statue to Begumpet Airport via Telugu Talli – N.T.R.Marg – Necklace rotary – Khairtabad flyover – V.V.Statue – Raj Bhavan – Yashodha hospital – Monappa island – Begumpet flyover – Hyderabad public school- P&T under flyover – Airport y Junction – Begumpet airport.
The Police Commissioner has advised the citizens to take alternative routes to their destinations and avoid the routes during the specified timings and co-operate with the Traffic Police. (NSS)
