Prakash Goud joins TRS; KTR woos Seemandhras

Reiterating that Seemandhra people residing in the twin cities are “our brethren”, IT Minister K Tarakarama Rao today vowed to implement a “development mantra” under stewardship of Chief Minister K Chandrasekhar Rao.

At a party campaigning at Kothapet and LB Nagar areas here on Saturday, KTR invited former corporater Prakash Goud and many others from neighbouring areas into the TRS fold by offering pink shawls. Speaking on the occasion, KTR reiterated that the TRS Government dispelled the fears and confusion created by other parties on bifurcation of united Andhra Pradesh. The tense situation two years ago was not prevailing now as the TRS government took all possible measures for safety and security of all people.

“Ours is a State fight for welfare of people and not a street-fight as it was being reported by other political parties”, he said. Chief Minister K Chandrasekhar Rao has plans for developing the city with people’s participation, he said. “Though we are divided into States, the people of both the regions are living together harmoniously. When I enquired, an old woman said she was getting increased pension and ration. She also said KCR was like her elder son and her family members also taking care of her health and food”, KTR said.

KTR appealed to the people to vote the TRS to power in the civic polls and participate themselves in transforming the city into a global destination. The TRS Government has its own agenda of developing the city with equal priority and importance on civic amenities, water projects, power, connectivity and others, he added. (NSS)
