Hyderabad, January 04: The Osmania General Hospital doctors today conducted post mortem on the body of G Suryanarayana Reddy alias Suri, who was shot dead in the car allegedly by his associate Bhanu last evening.
Talking to newspersons here, forensic expert Narayana Reddy said while conducting the post mortem, doctors did not notice two bullet injuries on the backside of Suri’s head.
Dr Reddy also said there was a distance of eight cm from the first and the second bullet injuries.
He said Suri died on the spot after Bhanu fired two rounds from the backseat of the car at Navodaya Colony in Yousufguda.
The driver later admitted Suri to Apollo Hospital at Jubilee Hills in an unconscious state.
The body was sent to his native district Anantapur from the hospital.
Hyderabad City Police Commissioner A K Khan confirming that Bhanu had fired at Suri, said the case was handed over to CCS police for a thorough probe.
He said six special police teams have been formed to trace Bhanu, who was at large after the incident.
The Police Commissioner also said police were questioning the driver, Madan Mohan Reddy, who last evening narrated what has happened exactly before the firing took place.
