Hyderabad: Former TPCC President Ponnala Laxmaiah on Thursday demanded the central government to hold re-elections in Telangana State, while stating that the verdict of the elections was completely different from what the people of the state thought . He said that the elections should be held with ballot papers instead of the existing EVMs.
Laxmaiah said that they would lodge a complaint with the president of India on the issue of missing names of voters from the voters list. He said that it was unfortunate that the chief electoral officer of the state had openly apologised for the missing voters’ from the electors’ list.
