Jammu, May 28: A police constable was today arrested for allegedly raping a minor girl in Rajouri district of Jammu and Kashmir, officials said here.
The 15-year-old girl was raped by policeman Daljeet Singh. The victim had gone to stay with a woman, where the accused barged into the house and raped the minor in Mapur village of Noushera tehsil of Rajouri district, they said.
The girl later narrated the incident to her parents, who registered a case in this regard, they said, adding the police constable has been arrested.
