Police book 50 Shiv Sena activists apprehending trouble

Muzaffarnagar, February 19: Police today booked 50 Shiv Sena activists including senior leader Manoj Seni on the apprehension of breach of peace in connection with a recent clash here between Sena and Congress workers.

Police apprehended trouble after activists from the two parties clashed on February 10 when Congress workers tried to burn an effigy of Sena supremo Bal Thackeray, city magistrate Arun Prakash said.

A case has already been registered against some Sena activists on charges of rioting.
