Kolkata: Accusing Prime Minister Narendra Modi of creating a socio-economic anarchy, All India Forward Bloc today said he owed an apology to the nation.
Without making any adequate alternative arrangement, the prime minister has pushed the entire nation into severe socio- economic anarchy, its general secretary Debabrata Biswas alleged.
It is now crystal clear that the Reserve Bank of India was not prepared for the aftermath, he said in a statement.
Biswas said it was unfortunate that Modi had challenged the integrity, loyalty and patriotism of the people.
“For a few black money holders and fake currency rackets, the entire people of the country are forced to prove their patriotism and loyalty by standing in the queues of banks and ATMs,” Biswas said.
“Instead of making emotional speeches, the Prime Minister should apologise to the nation,” he demanded.
