CM pats TSPSC for successful conduct of Group II Exams

Chief Minister K Chandrasekhar Rao has congratulated Chairman of Telangana State Public Service Commission (TSPSC) Prof. Ghanta

Chakrapani, Members of TSPSC, employees and all other officials, who were involved in the successful conduct of the recently held Group-II Services Examinations on November 11 and 13.

The Chief Minister also congratulated all the

District Collectors, Joint Collectors, District SPs and other District officials who have taken special care to conduct the Examination as per the instructions of the

Government. TSPSC has notified 1032 posts under Group-II Services and in response to which a record number of 7.89 lakh applications were received from the candidates. The TSPSC conducted the examinations in all the 31 Districts at 1916

identified centers located across the State of Telangana and 64% of the applied candidates attended the examinations.

The Chief Minister appreciated the way the arrangements like identifying exam centers and other logistics were made to cater to such a large number of candidates for which TSPSC had drawn up a work-plan and monitored it day-wise through a command center at TSPSC office. The work-plan involved appointment of around 350 Special Squads. The efforts of Members of the Commission who took special interest to visit various centers on the examination day are also appreciated. (NSS)
