Pune, January 24: Union Agriculture Minister and NCP chief Sharad Pawar today said he alone is not responsible for the price rise but the Prime Minister is also responsible.
He said this it after inaugurating a function of the Laboratories of Biotechnology and Bio-control of Agriculture University at Agriculture College, here. He denied that the Congress is not supporting him on the price rise issue.
”The crisis policy will be handled with the help of guidelines, recommended by the expert committee. Whatever they recommend we act accordingly. It is the decision of the Cabinet,” he said.
”According to my knowledge our country has a large quantity of food grains in store which will be useful for the whole year.
There has been a growth in the agriculture yeild this year also,” Mr Pawar added.
